I'd Find Myself with an Inbox Full of Unread Emails on Mondays

posted on 17 February 2012

I have always known that there are times when you slip and end up sending an email to the wrong party. Kind of like sending a text message to the wrong number. The other day when I opened my work email I saw about 20 unread emails plus 3 in the spam folder and sighed. It has always been the case whenever I get back from work on Monday my inbox would be full. As I scanned through the subjects I noticed one that seemed a little out of place. It was a forwarded email from Sherry and it was talking about where to buy cheap traffic for domain names that are online stores. Reading through it I was sure Sherry sent it to me by mistake, I emailed her and told her she sent it by mistake. A few minutes after I got her response apologizing for the mistake and told me to just delete it. Like I would need her to tell me to do that, God knows my inbox is already full as it is.

An Insight Into My Experiences with SEO

posted on 2 February 2012

My experiences with internet marketing and SEOhave been interesting to say the least. Back in the days before Google did their Panda update, I had a lot of luck with just sending out lots of tweets from my own account, putting my website link in forum signatures, and promoting on my personal Facebook wall. After Panda, everything they considered a low quality backlink was toast and I had to rethink it all. Now with Google Plus I am intrigued by the possibilities. I've joined a site that helps you get Twitter followers (giving you unique Twitter backlinks from all over the world) and also a site that helps you get others to make social bookmarks on your site. Social ADR has really given me some good results, and I'm doing the free program! The Twitter Backlinks service seems to be helping and I'm paying a low monthly fee. I think Google Plus is going to keep focusing on the "Plus Ones" and the social bookmarking and the Facebook "Likes" and the Tweets more and more. From what I read on SEOmoz in their blog, any internet marketer is going to have to roll with the times and get used to Google Plus just like we did with Panda. So I'm working on it!
